As part of our ongoing efforts to make Cardtree a trusted platform for professionals, teams, and creators, we’ve developed guidelines that go hand-in-hand with our Terms of Service.
They outline the do’s and don’ts of using Cardtree to help keep you—and your audience—safe, professional, and respected.
By using Cardtree, you agree to abide by these standards.

1. Professional Conduct
Cardtree is a platform built for professional identity, discovery, and communication.
All content you create or share should reflect respectful, authentic, and lawful behavior.
Do not:
Misrepresent your identity, credentials, or affiliations.
Create fake or misleading profiles.
Use Cardtree for spam, scams, or commercial exploitation unrelated to your own professional activity.
2. Adult Content
You may not:
Upload or link to adult or pornographic media, including nudity, explicit imagery, or sexual content in any form (avatars, backgrounds, thumbnails, PDFs, etc.).
Use Cardtree to advertise or solicit adult services.
Create or share AI-generated adult or sexualized content of real individuals (including deepfakes).
3. Hate Speech and Discrimination
Cardtree welcomes diverse ideas and backgrounds but not content that causes harm.
Do not post or promote content that:
Incites hatred or violence toward any individual or group.
Discriminates based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age.
Glorifies or supports organizations or individuals who promote hate, violence, or discrimination.
4. Impersonation, Privacy, and Misuse of Identity
Cardtree exists to help professionals express their authentic identity.
Do not:
Impersonate any person, company, or organization.
Use AI Twins or generated content to misrepresent or imitate others.
Share private or confidential data of others (e.g., personal addresses, contact info, financial details, IDs).
Expose or distribute private media without consent.
If you collect information (such as visitor data, contact forms, or analytics), you must include a privacy notice that complies with applicable privacy laws.
5. AI and Generative Content
AI is a core feature of Cardtree, but it must be used responsibly.
You must not use AI Twins or AI-generated profiles to:
Impersonate individuals or organizations.
Spread misinformation, disinformation, or manipulated media.
Generate or distribute hate speech, harassment, or sexual content.
Create misleading professional claims or false endorsements.
Train or upload datasets containing private or third-party data without consent.
Cardtree may restrict or suspend access to AI tools in case of repeated or serious violations.
6. Illegal or Regulated Goods and Services
Do not use Cardtree to advertise, promote, or facilitate illegal activities or regulated items, including but not limited to:
Controlled substances, alcohol, or tobacco products.
Weapons, explosives, or replicas.
Stolen or counterfeit goods.
Human or animal trafficking.
Hazardous materials.
Multi-level marketing or pyramid schemes.
Any goods or services restricted by local laws.
7. Spam, Fraud, and Misrepresentation
Do not:
Create multiple profiles to manipulate visibility or engagement.
Mislead users through deceptive links or redirects.
Collect personal data under false pretenses.
Engage in phishing or fraudulent fundraising.
Automate or mass-generate Cardtrees for click farming or affiliate revenue.
8. Harassment and Bullying
You may not use Cardtree to:
Intimidate, threaten, or harass individuals or organizations.
Encourage others to harass or target someone.
Use AI Twins or comments to mock, demean, or provoke others.
We reserve the right to restrict or remove profiles involved in harassment.
9. Extremism, Violence, and Terrorism
Cardtree prohibits any use that supports or promotes extremist or terrorist activity.
Do not:
Advocate, recruit for, or fundraise for extremist organizations.
Share violent propaganda or graphic content.
Glorify or justify acts of violence or terrorism.
10. Child Safety and Exploitation
Cardtree enforces a zero-tolerance policy for child harm.
Do not upload, link, or share any content that involves or exploits minors, including:
Child sexual abuse material or grooming.
Inappropriate depictions of minors (including AI-generated).
All such content is reported to law enforcement and relevant authorities.
11. Self-Harm and Sensitive Topics
Do not promote or glorify self-harm, eating disorders, or suicide.
Discussions of recovery or mental health must remain constructive and non-graphic.

12. Shocking or Violent Content
Do not share content intended to shock, disturb, or incite fear, including:
Gore or mutilation imagery.
Physical abuse or torture.
Extreme or graphic violence.
13. Copyright and Intellectual Property
Only upload content you own or have rights to use.
You may not:
Use copyrighted logos, text, or imagery without permission.
Upload or share content that violates patents, trademarks, or trade secrets.

14. Misinformation and Manipulated Media
Cardtree is a platform for authentic professional stories — not misinformation.
You may not share or generate:
False or misleading claims about people, companies, or events.
Deepfakes or AI-altered media meant to deceive.
False medical, political, or scientific information.
Conspiracy content or hoaxes that may cause public harm.
15. Enforcement and Reporting
Violations of these Community Guidelines may result in:
Warning or content removal
Suspension or permanent account termination
Restriction of AI Twin access
Reporting to authorities (where legally required)
